Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.A San Diego man who stabbed his boyfriend 93 times pleaded guilty today to a federal crime, announced U.S. With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the \'Buy Securely\' button on each listing page. We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations. All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch. Any orders from prohibited countries will be refunded, less any Paypal fees which are non-refundable. If you are unsure about your country’s regulations, please contact us and we can check for you. Due to Customs regulations, we are unable to send watches / precious metals to certain countries. If the customer refuses to pay any duty and customs charges and the parcel is returned to sender all shipping and associated charges will be deducted from any refund. Tax and import duty varies from country to country so we recommend you check with your local tax office to see if any fees will be payable. The Vintage Wrist Watch Company operates on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis which means that the international buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes & customs which may be necessary to release an order from international customs.

Please contact us for international shipping prices. Due to transit insurance restrictions, we can only ship this watch within the UK. A new blue leather strap with contrasting white stitching has been fitted. The top crown is for the alarm, both to wind if you want to set the alarm and also to set (pull out to first position and move the alarm hand backwards) and then push the crown back in. This is also used to set the date (not quickset). The movement is wound and the time is set by using the bottom button. The dial is in its original finish which is in beautiful condition with original hands, centre seconds and pale blue alarm hand. The lens has three short light scratches although not immediately noticeable to the naked eye. It states that the watch is water resistant to 3ATM but this has not been tested. The stainless steel case has light marking but overall is in very acceptable condition. The watch itself measures 44mm wide excluding the winding crowns and 40mm high including the lugs. The movement is signed with the Favre Leuba name. Favre Leuba used two movements for their Memo Raider, the Jaegar LeCoultre calibre 917 or the A Schild movement… this particular one has the desirable LeCoultre movement and it is working well.
